The following is a list of terms and conditions associated with using the Tickets.ie mobile ticket scanning application available on Apple and Google Play stores (here after referred to as “the App”) and its services, features, content, applications and websites.
The Tickets.ie ticket scanning app is powered and provided and owned by Oshi Software Limited trading as Tickets.ie.
Oshi Software Limited is a limited company registered in the Republic of Ireland with company registration number 383978 and registered company address at G4 The Steelworks, Foley Street, Dublin 1, D01 R997.
Downloading, installing, registration, access to and use of the App is acknowledgement of your acceptance and compliance to these terms and conditions.
You must be an event organiser or venue approved and registered on the Tickets.ie platform before using the App.
Services
Tickets.ie endeavours but cannot guarantees the App will be: compatible with any or all of your mobile device or any software which you may use on your device; available all the time; completely accurate and up to date.
The names Oshi Software Limited and Tickets.ie are used interchangeable in this document.
In the following sections that follow the use of the word “we” refers to both Oshi Software Limited and Tickets.ie.
We shall not be responsible for any indirect losses you may suffer in connection with your use of the App or any content available through it.
We shall not be responsible for any losses incurred by you because of a failure and / or malfunctioning of your mobile device, delays, or interruption in the operation of the App or anything beyond our reasonable control.
We accept no liability for personal injury to you using this App.
User Activity
The App is only permitted for your personal use and you agree not to use it for any activities prohibited by these Terms and Conditions.
You are responsible for all your activities in connection with the App.
By downloading, using, and registering the App, you are agreeing to have a compatible mobile device e.g. smart phone (iOS or Android), access and connectivity to the internet. Mobile connectivity and use of internet may incur charges and you are responsible for these.
You are not permitted to attempt to interfere or interfere with the functioning of the App.
You agree not to disrupt the operating system of the App or attempt to breach the App security.
You are not permitted to reproduce, copy, sell, resell, remove, duplicate, or modify in any way content or software in the App.
You agree not to use the App for an illegal purpose under Irish, European, UK and US law.
The App and its contents may not be copied or used without the prior written consent of Tickets.ie.
If we believe you have breached any of the terms and conditions outlined, we reserve the right to suspend, modify or remove your account without notice.
If you access any third-party applications or websites from the App you do so at your own risk. We do not accept any responsibility for any third-party content.
The App may request additional permission related to the settings on your mobile device e.g. accessing your location or your camera. If you choose not to give the required permission, then you may not be able to access all functions of the App.
Privacy Policy
This privacy policy governs the way Oshi Software Limited collects, uses, maintains, and discloses information collected from users who register with the App.
Please read this privacy policy carefully to get an understanding of how Oshi Software Limited collect, use, protect or otherwise handle your information.
To register and use the App the user must provide their full name, email address and working mobile phone number. These details must be registered with Tickets.ie prior to using the App. This information is used for authentication of an account on the Tickets.ie system.
The Tickets.ie backend system is scanned on a regular basis for potential security weaknesses and known vulnerabilities to keep your information as safe as possible.
Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems and are required to keep the information confidential.
In addition, all sensitive information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and protected under GDPR legislation.
Under GDPR, Oshi Software Limited is acting as both data processor and data controller in relation to the use of this App.
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, the practices of the App, your dealings with the App, have any complaints about the App, or if you or any third party become aware of any breach in the outlined terms and conditions then please contact Tickets.ie via https://www.tickets.ie/contact-us/.
By using the App, you signify your acceptance of the terms and conditions and privacy policy. If you do not agree to these, do not use the App.
Your continued use of the App following the posting of changes to this policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.
