Hudson Taylor release their latest single ‘Chasing Rubies’ through Polydor on October 3rd. The single is the latest to be released by brothers Harry & Alfie who have seen their huge underground following transform into the mainstream and captured the attention of new fans and critics alike.
An acoustic version of ‘Chasing Rubies’ has already been streamed over one million times on Spotify, had one million YouTube views and is a firm live favourite. In addition to being added to the BBC Radio One playlist, the song has been Huw Stephens Hottest Record following in the success of ‘Battles’ which held the coveted Zane Lowes Hottest Record on the In New Music We Trust.
The band's EPs have now sold in excess of 30,000 copies and they have had over six million views on Youtube.
This year has seen them sell out their biggest headline show to date at London’s Electric Ballroom and entertain the crowds with their stomping singalong sets at Longitude, Glastonbury and T in the Park. Following a support slot with Jake Bugg last year, Hudson Taylor have just been announced as main support for Bugg on his UK tour in October, which takes in nine cities and culminates at Alexandra Palace, London on October 21st.
They are currently putting the finishing touches to their debut album, which is set for release early next year.
